I am so blessed and humbled to share that we have the opportunity to travel to Israel this summer!
God has placed the Holy Land on our hearts for a while now, but we just didn't see it happening anytime soon. But doors have been opened and this May we'll be walking (more literally than ever before) in the footsteps of Jesus. We have dear friends who are living there and they will be hosting us. We can hardly wait! What better way to celebrate my graduation from seminary than to bring my books to life?
Oh, and we also have an 8-hour layover in London! Danny studied for a semester in York and traveled there many times, so he'll get to show me around there as well.
So there it is. We're going to Israel in less than 4 months! Sounds pretty dance worthy to me...
Kay, that's awesome! I'm SO excited for you! I can't wait to hear all about it! Less that four months we will be done with seminary AND you will be in Israel! Crazy!

ReplyDeletePS - We have a wedding to go to on the 30th and I was wondering if I could maybe borrow a dress?? I have something but I'm not sure it's dressy enough...what in the world does one wear to a winter wedding? Would you mind bringing one, or more, or WHATEVER, along tomorrow?!?

ReplyDeleteI am so absolutely excited for you :) I went there for 2 weeks with my family and let me tell you, I did NOT want to go. But the Lord is good and changed my heart. It was one of the best 2 weeks of my life- to see your Bible come to life is simply breathtaking. Praying for you and your husband! Enjoy every single second and soak up those images so when you come back home and read your Bible, you can forever picture where Jesus was :)
