friday & the little blue house.

Did you know today is Friday?

My, how it's sneaked up on us all.  I guess that's what 3-day weekends will do to you.

This weekend is going to be a good one.

Tonight...

I have our first all-nighter of the year.

14 straight hours with high school students?

Yes please.

(I think.)

Tomorrow...

sleep.  & grocery shopping.  & sleep.

Sunday...

church.  & a look inside the little blue house.

Okay, about this house...

From what we know now, it's perfect.

3 bedrooms, 1 bath.

a long driveway.

a 2 car garage.

a bay window.

right in our price range.

a good backyard for Den & dinner parties.

in the neighborhood where we want to buy one day.

a big, shady tree that covers the front yard.

made in the 1920's with tons of charm.

updated electric and plumbing.

I can't help it.

I've been dreaming about it. (so has Dan.)

I see myself stringing lights in the backyard.

all the dinner parties on picnic tables.

laying with my babies on a blanket in the front yard.

walking on the original redwood floors.

walking down the historic tree-lined streets.

I try not to get too ahead of myself, but that seems to be my middle name.
