The wedding was beautiful.
Carley, of course, was absolutely stunning.
Every little detail- her hair, her makeup, her dress, her FOUR veils, her bracelet, her flowers...
Everything was so...her.
I couldn't be more happy for my best friend.
Because I wanted to be ever-so-present, I went to the reception sans camera. But hopefully will get some shots from others. Like this one:
And yes, if you're wondering, that stuff on my face is makeup.
I absolutely refused to get my makeup done for my own wedding, or even prom, but for Carley? Anything.
And this can be our little secret, but I really loved it.
(sister, you should be proud.)

haha, great post! I don't enjoy wearing make-up either. It makes me feel like I'm 40 & I constantly wonder if I have garbage in the corner of my eye (mascara), BUT every once & a while...it's nice to wear :)

Ohhh my goodness I see your sis in this picture soooo much its prob. the makeup! Seriously my jaw dropped when i saw you wearing make up because I always remember your sis trying to put it on you for dances and you did not love it one bit! You look pretty and I love your bangs!!!!
