It is 8:52 on Thursday morning
So far I have...
read my Bible
curled my hair
watched 2 episodes of Say Yes to the Dress (yay Netflix!)
vacuumed
eaten a bowl of cereal
And now I result to this...organizing my bookcase by color.
Um, so what do people do during the summer when they're not in summer school (this summer) or planning a wedding (last summer)?
I have no idea what to do with myself.
These are some of the things I wish I had time to do - maybe one or more will appeal to you too, plus I know you like lists :)
ReplyDeleteCatch up on sleep
Read a book
Have lunch with an old friend
Take the dog for a walk
Find a waterfall
Make a complicated dinner
Bake
Sit in a hammock
Have a relaxed conversation with my husband
Volunteer (food bank, shelter, library reading to kids, etc.)
Swim (pool, lake, river)
Quiet time with God
Watch movies (I love Netflix too)
Deep cleaning
And so much more.
Enjoy, it will be over before you know it.
Don't you work?

Beth, I work part-time :)
ReplyDeleteLoriJeanne...thanks for the ideas! :) I am excited to use this list and add to it!
OHHHHHHH....! That makes sense. I guess I thought since you were married you would work full time. So your husband works full time, right?
ReplyDeleteI wish I was able to work part time. =)

I totally agree Kay! I am trying to find fairly relaxing but not lazy things to do with myself until I go back to school Sept 23! Maybe we should hang out :)
ReplyDeleteBeth,
ReplyDeleteYes- he works full time! Usually I am taking 13 units of graduate level courses, so it evens out pretty well. It really is a blessing- I am really looking forward to having a couple free days each week this summer :)
Kara,
YES!
