guest quilt

I remember telling you before the wedding that we wanted to do quilt squares as our guest book.  Well, the other day I got our quilt as a little surprise during my work day.  Isn't it beautiful?  We're in love.  And the stick-figures?  Priceless.  Thank you, Mary...what a wonderful gift.

Happy weekend to you all.  Hope it's a good one!

6 left some love:

  1. Hey Kaylyn!
My name is Jennifer, I found your blog because I searched "youth ministry" and found we have alot more in common--a love for Jesus and photography among them. :)
Just stopping by to say hello, and God bless you. Your wedding quilt is beautiful and such a cute idea!

  4. Rash, I can't think of any railroad tracks, but there are a lot of places around. If you take Peyton all the way done you can get some good background shots of the hills. If you turn right at the end you can go into Velano. One time I took some shots back there and the scenery was beautiful- especially in the later afternoon. If you're willing to drive there, downtown Pomona has some really cool old streets, old doors, cool walls, etc. Maybe even Grand Ave Park? I can imagine the hills in the way background would be a pretty setting.
    Hope that helps!
