So...here's the deal. When the movie comes out on DVD Dan & I will hold a dinner party at our place. Bring a course and a bottle of wine and we'll dine through the movie. (which is how I think it should be watched!) I'm thinking 6 or 7 courses will do. Want to join us? Make a mental note and I'll get back to you in a couple months.
Until then, let's all brush up on our cooking skills, shall we? According to Danny's co-workers, Dan's wife makes the best zucchini bread ever, but I don't think Julia Child would settle for bread as a course. Oh well, to each her own.
Happy 3-day weekend to you! It's going to be a great one...
bon appetit!
Mitch & I loved it! Sooo great! This week alone I've made real spag & meatsauce, chicken & gravy with mashed potatoes & biscuits & tomorrow nite is pizza soup! Sounds wierd but it's sooo good! And of course oatmeal cookies tomorrow for a lil trip we are taking to San Diego. After praying for our food I say, "Bon Appetit!" Yay!
ReplyDeletesweet! I'm counting you in for the dinner party :) let's all dress up, too!
ReplyDeleteMy mom and I went to see it together too and we absolutely loved it! In the beginning of the movie, my mom leaned over and said, "You are a lot like her" because I love creating things in the kitchen and of course I love to eat. Then a couple of minutes later her husband walked in and she called him Paul. My mom and I both looked at each other and giggled a little. I told Paul later that day that I also wanted to start having dinner parties. What a fun movie. :) Bon Appetit!
ReplyDeleteCount Marc and I in!

I guess I need to go see the movies. I don't like to cook, and I'm not good at it, either. I could use some inspiration!
